As the area's premier pre-professional ballet institution, the Greater Lansing Ballet Company brings this stunning art form to venues throughout Mid-Michigan. As a nonprofit organization, the GLBC also extends to young people a unique opportunity to learn and perform classical and contemporary ballet in an extraordinary professional environment.

GLBC's tradition of strong technical foundations in multiple dance idoms paired with a pursuit of continued artistic growth through engaging, high level choreography helps it to stand out in the greater Lansing area and offers exciting, challenging opportunities to its dancers.

The GLBC is a proud member of the renowned Regional Dance America, a national organization of ballet companies that promotes the artistic development of dance companies throughout the United States. The RDA provides professional standards for eighty-seven companies and over two thousand dancers across the country. Many Regional Dance America companies and dancers have gone on to professional careers.
